1. HR Advisory Services

Many businesses cannot afford to hire a full-time HR manager. This leaves employers at risk, because complying with Canadian employment law can be a full-time job. For this reason, Beneplan has provided its member-owners with complimentary access to Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Included in the coverage is as follows:

  • A 1-hour introductory call to review and audit current practices.
  • Supply of templates and recommendations to fill any gaps.
  • A 1-hour follow-up call to check on progress.
  • Up to 12 hours per year of conversations and support.

The advisor can be reached at the following co-ordinates:

1-800-387-1670 x268 // hr@beneplan.ca

2. The Shepell Employee and Family Assistance Program

3. The Personalized Prescription Plan (P3)

We are all unique, and so is the way we react to medications. While our doctors prescribe our medications to the best of their ability, the missing piece of the puzzle is your DNA. It's your genetics that can predict your response to different drugs, so your doctor can choose the right one, tailored to you. P3 makes this a reality. The Personalized Prescription Plan (P3) uses genetic testing to assist your doctor in prescribing the right drug at the right dose for you and your dependents.ConfidentialityThe test is completely non-invasive: it only requires a simple cheek swab that can be completed by you int he comfort of your home. The results are absolutely confidential - only your doctor will have access to your results. It is possible that as a result of the test, your doctor may alter your or your dependent's medication or dose, resulting in a better health outcome.EligibilityAs an employee enrolled in P3, you may already be eligible for a confidential genetic test that will tell your doctor which medications you are safe to take, and which could hurt you. To be eligible for this benefit, you must be taking one or more pre-approved medications, which can be found on our website or on our smartphone app called "P3 Eligibility App," available for iPhone or Android from the App Store or Google Play.Terms & ConditionsDrugs TestedFAQMore Information
