Wellness Tip: Top foods which should be in your shopping cart

The following list of foods should be incorporated into your meals for its many health benefits:

Beverages:  Green tea, organic wines, water

Condiments:  Extra-virgin olive oil (first cold-pressed), turmeric spice, sea salt

Dairy:  Plain organic yogurt or Greek yogurt

Fruits:  Cherries, prunes, oranges, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, avocados, apples, tomatoes, bananas, plums, oranges, grapefruit, kiwi

Grains:  Brown rice, steel-cut oatmeal, spelt, kamut, millet cereals, brown rice pasta, and brown rice wraps

Meat and alternatives:  Organic free-range chicken and beef, organic eggs, wild Pacific salmon, kidney beans, tilapia, halibut, Mahi tuna

Nuts and seeds:  Raw almonds, sunflower seeds, freshly ground flaxseeds, raw walnuts, raw cashews, raw pumpkin seeds

Vegetables:  Broccolli, cauliflower, peppers (green/orange/red/yellow), celery, cucumber, carrots, yams, spinach, asparagus, a variety of squash, beets, bok choy, kale, garlic and onions
